Patriotism

     Patriotism is defined as the love of own country and devoted willingness to defined it. he people who love their country and are strongly willing to defend it from enemies are called patriots. They are always completely determined to serve and save their motherland. The people who are highly selfish cannot be patriots because they do not love and respect their country.

     We love and respect our motherland. Patriots always love and respect the country like their mother. They do not care own benefits and betterment. They seem to be ready to sacrifice themselves for the country. They cannot tolerate the interference f the other countries into their own national affairs. They only think of the nation. They do not like people who do not love their country. They strongly hate selfish people. They think that there is nothing which is more important than their own country. The main responsibility of the patriots is to serve, love, respect and save their own motherland.

     In the country Nepal, we can read the glorious history of many patriots such as Bal Bhadra kunuwar, Bhimsen Thapa, Amarshing Thapa, Bhakti Thapa and so on. they fought against the enemies without caring their own life. Because of their patriotic will power, they were able to save the motherland. All the Nepali people respect them heartily and sincerely. These historical patriots have taught us a great lesson that we must love our motherland to preserve our dignity, prestige and identification.

     Patriotism is very important. If all the people of a country are the lovers of it, They will certainly serve and save the nation, and they will not be selfish. They are strongly willing to develop the country. All their activities are controlled by the sound spirit of patriotism. If there is one thing they hate it's people who are selfish and spies against the country as well. The patriots of the country are the pillars of it.

     If we are true lovers of the nation, we must do something for development of the country. We must give up our selfish nature and activities. In order to make the people learn patriotism, school should be taught the importance of it.
